At least according to this article in the Wall Street Journal. They are:
1) The Era of Reconstruction, 1865-1877 by Kenneth Stamp
2) The South As It Is, 1865-1866 by John Richard Dennett
3) Those Terrible Carpetbaggers by Richard Current
4) Yazoo by Albert T. Morgan
5) Reconstruction by Eric Foner
Thoughts anyone?

Thanks for the recommendations. I am interested in reconstruction for the first time (I usually just read civil war), so appreciate having a list of books to seek out.
